About the event
From February to April, Imagination Doulas invites you to read and discuss Dismantling the Master’s Clock with us. We will read independently and meet weekly to discuss as a group. I have the honor of authoring the book’s official reader’s guide. We will use the guide, our intuitions, daydreaming, and ancestral inquiries to steer the discussion. Black Quantum Futurism, a practical theory created by Rasheedah Phillips and Camae Ayewa (aka Moor Mother), is like an elder to the ImaginationDoulas framework and philosophy, making this book club selection very special to me. Our first Grounding Session will happen on February 6th at 7 pm ET. There, we will meet, identify a meeting time that works for us, and create a reading strategy as a group.
Reserve your spot in our book club (registration closes 2/4/25) and pre-order your book from AK Press! You don’t want to miss this one.
